We are excited to announce that the window for our annual federal appropriations process has opened. This year we invite faculty from across the institution to participate in the process.
Though federal resources continue to be limited across all government agencies, we invite your ideas and any contributions that you believe best align with the strategic direction of your college, unit, and department. Following review of the submissions, university leadership, in conjunction with college deans and directors, will work to create a targeted book of FY 2027 appropriations requests to be submitted to the New Hampshire congressional delegation in early 2026.
As we navigate a complicated federal landscape, where investment in research remains uncertain, we have chosen to infuse increased strategy and oversight into our FY 2027 appropriations request submission process to ensure future requests align with the needs of our community, the interests of the congressional delegation, and the university priorities laid out in the strategic plan unveiled earlier this month.
We look forward to reviewing your submissions and together moving towards a successful appropriations cycle.
