Research and Innovation Employee of the Month — August
Kerry Munson, Finance Manager, UNH Interoperability Labs
Please join us in congratulating Kerry Munson as the August Research and Innovation Employee of the Month. Kerry's work was vital to a recent successful project to rebuild UNHI's finance operations for 1) collecting royalties from licensees, and 2) distributing royalties to UNH inventors. As part of a two-person team with Heather Gordon, Kerry inherited an antiquated error-prone system and made great strides to correct and prevent future issues, improving efficiency, reliability and the confidence of those who use and benefit from the system. Kerry’s collaboration in rebuilding UNHI's finance processes has been extraordinary, above and beyond her job descriptions, a demonstration of wonderful teamwork, and a benefit to the financial health of UNHI and UNH. This project was in parallel to her day to day role as the business manager for the Interoperability lab where she helps manage the 180 corporate customers of the lab.
Kerry's exceptional professionalism, collaborative spirit, and dedication to improving processes for the long-term make her an invaluable asset to the Research and Innovation unit. We are grateful for her hard work and proud to celebrate her well-deserved recognition.
