Research Administration Advisory Council

The mission of the Research Administration Advisory Council (RAC) is to actively foster a USNH community culture that supports all forms of scholarship. The RAC will also serve as an advisory and consultative body to provide guidance, input, and advice to the Office of Research, Economic Engagement and Outreach (REEO) on a variety of topics including strategic planning, new initiatives, mentoring students involved with research, and policies and procedures pertaining to research. 

The goals of the UNH Research Administration Advisory Council are to:

  • Increase communication regarding research and scholarly activities across all the USNH campuses. 
  • Nurture a community culture of scholarship to promote collaboration and support.
  • Serve as a centralized council anyone can come to with general research-related questions or concerns. 
  • Ensure that research policies and procedures support and encourage diversity and inclusion. 

Procedures:  The Council meets every other month during the academic year.

  • Chair: Associate Vice President and Chief Research Administration Officer.

  • A faculty representative from each of the Schools. 
  • A faculty representative from Keene State College. 
  • A faculty representative from Plymouth State University.

  • A faculty representative from the Research Faculty Council. 
  • A representative from the Post-Doc Association. 
  • A representative from the Graduate Student Senate. 
  • A faculty representative from the Faculty Senate. 
  • A faculty representative from the Library.

  • A representative from the Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research.
