DeepThought AI for Researchers: What, Why, How, & When

Thursday, September 25, 2025 - 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots are increasingly being integrated into academic and professional environments, offering new opportunities for research, teaching, and scholarly communication. USNH has developed DeepThought AI, a platform that leverages multiple Large Language Models (LLMs) and a USNH knowledge base. The system runs on an onsite high-performance computing cluster, ensuring all data remains securely within the network.

This session will provide an overview of DeepThought, explore various use cases for research, discuss current limitations and ethical considerations for research and scholarship, and offer a live demonstration of the platform.
