UNH’s UP-2-NIH
program is planned again for AY 2025-2026.
The goal of this
intensive, 2-semester program is to help faculty at any career level develop
the skills necessary to compete successfully for funding by the National
Institutes of Health (NIH).
NIH funds basic, applied, and translational research related to public health,
including economics and behavioral studies.
Since the start
of the program in 2012, UP-2-NIH has had 65 participants, the number of UNH
applications to NIH each year has more than doubled, and the number of awards
from NIH has risen steadily.
We invite you to
apply to become part of the next cohort of UP-2-NIH participants.
