IMPORTANT: Winter break COVID-19 testing survey; regular testing week of Nov. 9 for Durham employees

Nov. 7, 2020

Dear Colleagues—

Planning is underway for COVID-19 testing over the winter break (Monday, Nov. 30-Friday, Jan. 29) and we need your help. Starting Monday, Nov. 30, all faculty and staff will transition to the UNH COVID Lab and the self-swabbing process. All faculty and staff on the Durham campus must fill out this survey , EVEN IF YOU ARE WORKING REMOTELY AND ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE TESTING PROGRAM, by Friday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. All faculty and staff who plan to be on campus for any purpose between Monday, Nov. 30, and Friday, Jan. 29, must participate in the university’s testing program. You will receive a follow-up email (only if you will be testing during the break) letting you know when and where you can pick up your testing kits and labels for use over winter break along with information on the testing process.

Until Nov. 30, weekly COVID-19 testing for faculty and staff who are coming to the Durham campus will remain with ConvenientMD at Wildcat Stadium. Remember, if you are currently working remotely and have no plans to come to campus, you do not need to participate in the testing program. Testing at Wildcat Stadium will be available Monday-Friday (Nov. 9-13), 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 14, 9 a.m.-noon. Please register in advance with ConvenientMD and remember to bring a valid photo ID. Also, if you have not already done so, please update your profile. This is critical to our ability to perform contact tracing.

Please continue to remain vigilant. Stay home if you feel sick and continue to follow all public health recommendations around mask wearing, hand washing, physical distancing and illness.
