A Discussion board allows for students to interact with each other, either individually or within a group. The Discussion board by default is ungraded but can be set up as a graded assessment. Graded discussions have a column in the gradebook and the instructor can use the Speedgrader to evaluate submissions.

- Use clear and detailed instructions in your assessments.
- Use a Due Date so student know when to submit the assessment.
