ACCOLADES is a community housed on the second of Alexander Hall, consisting of mostly College of Liberal Arts (COLA) undeclared first-year students. The RLC was developed to reach students that are undecided in their choice of major so that they can find community with others that are also undeclared and in search of their academic and career path. Being involved in this community is a great way for first-year students to feel connected and to find friends within their classes and their residence hall.

The Alexander staff works to incorporate academics, study skills, time management tips, information on how to select classes and build a schedule, and how to focus in on a major of interest, in their weekly programming and events. The staff works closely with the dean of the college, Dean Michele Dillon, COLA advisors, and upperclass COLA students on these programming efforts, and they often attend events within the hall! The Dean's office has even provided free tickets to events on campus, books, and goody bags during final exams week!
