Why did you choose to work for Housing at UNH?
Ever since I entered university for my undergraduate, I knew that I never wanted to leave the university setting. There is just something about this time in a young person’s life where people are given so much opportunity, knowledge, and freedom that they can’t help but be transformed. I went through a personal transformation during my undergrad, and it was such a positive experience that all I want to do is turn around and help everyone who is coming after me to have such a great experience. Integral to any college experience is housing because without that strong foundation it makes your whole college experience immensely harder. I am honored and genuinely excited everyday that I can work here at UNH to help so many students, all in various situations, get settled and feel comfortable to take on all the challenges, opportunities, and experiences that will await them here at UNH.
What advice would you give to students?
Take it all in! This is such a special time and if you’re not careful then like a flash it will be gone. To the best of your ability be mindful and present in the here and now. You won’t regret it.
