Why did you choose to become a Hall Director?

Being a Hall Director at UNH is the perfect combination of my passions for community building, learning, and having fun! A student’s time at university has the potential to be an epic adventure, and every adventure story needs a few supporting characters. As a Hall Director, I have the privilege of being one of those supporters as students write their own adventures! I strive to create a community that cultivates the integrity, empathy, and empowerment that will set students up for success in all their endeavors.

Why did you choose to work for Res Life at the University of New Hampshire?

I fell in love with UNH while working as a Tutor Mentor on campus with the UNH Upward Bound program. I was born in the desert of Arizona and raised in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, and I can tell you that there is nowhere quite like Durham. This campus and the surrounding area have so much to offer you in natural beauty, history, and culture. The incredible UNH Res Life staff is the icing on the cake! I strongly value creating a supportive environment for all students, and that is a value shared by each member of this team.

What advice would you give to students?

Your life won’t end after you receive your degree; you have a whole lifetime ahead of you to grow and pursue your passions. Use these years to prepare for that! Find what makes you feel like the best version of yourself, and never lose sight of it. It will be your compass.
