A built-up triple is a space identified by UNH Housing as a larger double room that can accommodate three people. The space is furnished so that each student has their own bed (possibly lofted or bunked), desk, chair, and dresser. Closet/wardrobe space may be shared. Residents living in triple rooms also pay less than students living in double rooms.
To accommodate the continued high interest in on-campus housing, select rooms in Alexander, Christensen, Haaland, Handler, McLaughlin, Mills, Peterson, and Williamson Halls will be expanded in occupancy (built-up) for next year (2024-2025). Check out some examples from previous years below:
