Our services are available to fully matriculated UNH Durham students.

Which Appointment Is Right For You?

We have urgent or crisis appointments, appointments for ongoing care, and informational meetings.

Is this your very first PACS appointment this academic year?

  • If yes, you can use our online scheduling for Initial Phone Consultations.
  • If no, please call PACS at (603) 862-2090 (Relay NH: 1-800-735-2964) during regular business hours. 

To make an appointment, you will need:

  • Your student ID number
  • Your full name
  • Your contact information

To ensure a clinician can reach you for your Initial Phone Consultation, please be sure to disable the Blocked Call and the Do Not Disturb features on your phone prior to the scheduled appointment call time.

What to Expect for Your Initial Phone Consultation

An Initial Phone Consultation is a 20-minute phone call with a therapist to assess your needs.  At the scheduled time, you will receive a call from the therapist. It is important to answer the call promptly when it is received, and to be in a private, quiet location during the call.

During the call, the therapist will:

  • Verify some information with you
  • Ask questions about
    • your current concerns
    • your social and health history
    • your future goals
  • Discuss recommendations for treatment, referrals, and resources

What to Expect from an Informational Meeting with a PACS Peer Ambassador

If you would like to learn more about the range of resources at UNH that support student mental health, well-being, and success, we invite you to schedule a brief informational meeting with a PACS' Peer Ambassador.

Meet Our Peer Ambassadors

Peer Ambassadors are available to meet with you:

  • Monday afternoon between the hours of 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm
  • Wednesday afternoon between the hours of 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Some students find that local, private providers offer the frequency or specialized care they are looking for. In such cases, PACS staff are happy to assist students in establishing care in the community.

Due to high patient demand and the limited availability of appointments, PACS has instituted a "No Show and Late Cancellation Fee" policy.
