Get a look at what being a Wildcat is all about, with a personalized conversation tailored to your interests. Connect with a current student to ask questions about their major, involvement on campus, relationship with faculty, and daily life at UNH. We'll pair you with a friendly student ambassador who's eager to share their experience and insight into what makes UNH vibrant, supportive, and uniquely rewarding.
Registration is limited and must be completed at least one week before your visit.

Choose the class time that’s right for you. Please register for only one event. You will have the option to select from a variety of listed courses to shadow.
What to expect
Students will have the option to select and attend one course offered by UNH's college divisions. After registering for the course, you will receive a confirmation email with your check-in time, and agenda items of the visit. You are welcome to choose a course from any college that you would like to explore. Due to high demand, students may only register for one course to shadow.
Please note that registration is limited and must be made no later than a week in advance of the program.
During the Shadow days, students are givne the chance to:
- Attend a UNH class
- Enjoy a meal in Holloway Commons
- Experience campus life as a future Wildcat
- Meet with an Admissions Counselor (optional)
Additional details
Your schedule and matching
- You'll be matched with a current UNH student and receive a personalized schedule 2–3 days before your visit. Most sessions run about 2–3 hours — you won't be on campus for the full day.
- We do our best to match you with a student in your intended major or program, but this isn't guaranteed and depends on student and course availability.
Class cancellations and schedule changes
The Shadow a Wildcat team will contact the student if a scheduled class is cancelled, shortened, or otherwise affected for any reason, including inclement weather. If a class does not take place as planned, we will offer an alternate campus visit experience, which may or may not occur on the originally scheduled date. Every effort will be made to provide advance notice of any changes whenever possible.
Inclement weather and University curtailment
Please note that tours and programs will not be offered if the University curtails or cancels operations. Families are encouraged to call the UNH Storm Line at (603) 862-0000 to confirm University operations. For your safety, and the safety of our staff and students, we recommend considering an alternate visit date if travel conditions are unsafe. The University also reserves the right to delay or cancel tours or programs with limited notice if conditions are deemed unsafe for visitors, staff, or students.
