Frequently Asked Questions

UNH ID cards are provided by the Campus Services Office for students who have paid the UNH mandatory fees and for benefits eligible and adjunct faculty/staff. Your ID card is used for identification purposes on campus and for conducting transactions of the University of New Hampshire and affiliated services. There are no fees for your initial ID card. Learn more and visit the UNH ID Cards web page.

Transact eAccounts is an app that makes it easy to upload your photo for your student ID, view account balances and track transactions right on your phone. Learn more and visit the Transact eAccounts web page.

If you misplace your ID card, we recommend suspending activity immediately and requesting a replacement using the online form. Your replacement ID will be available for pickup at the Campus Services Office.

Only balances of meals, Dining Dollars, Cat's Cache, and guest passes on the card at the time it is suspended can be protected. No temporary cards will be issued. Until your ID card is replaced, you will not have access to your balances of any funds. Unlimited meal plan holders can still access the dining halls by providing their Student ID number.

The owner of the ID card is responsible for its security and proper use and subject to a $25 fine for its unauthorized use.

If your UNH ID Card isn't working or you are denied please see the cashier and if necessary, the Campus Services Office.

All First Year Students and those living in Residence Halls are required to be on a meal plan. All others may use DIning Dollars, Cat's Cache, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Meal Plans are available for anyone to purchase and we have multiple options to fit your needs. Learn more and visit the UNH Meal Plan web page.
