When you partner with CaPS to host a recruitment event, you gain a dedicated team to provide valuable insights into our student body and comprehensive support to ensure your event’s success. We provide three main engagement opportunities for on-campus recruitment (OCR):
Interviews Tabling Career Fairs
Invest in building your recruitment strategy and leverage our team's expertise in engaging students on-campus. All recruitment events requested through CaPS include:
- Targeted marketing to help you reach the student population you’re recruiting.
- Schedule management using CaPS event reminders to register students on your behalf.
- Day-of-event support to help you and students get connected with our team managing all campus visit logistics.
- Post-event reporting to help you follow up after your event and turn connections into hires.
All requests are to be made 3 weeks prior to the desired date to ensure successful marketing. Refer to the Academic Calendar and the blackout dates below for the best days to recruit. The Fall 2026 recruitment season is September 8 to December 4.

On-Campus Tabling
Hosting an informational table is a great way to raise brand awareness, market open positions, and meet new students. We offer tables in three locations across campus to help employers meet a diverse array of students. Tabling can be booked online and logistics for on-campus visits will be sent upon approval of registration.
Tabling is available Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30am - 2:30pm during our recruitment season.
To benefit the most from your visit, we encourage you to bring snacks or host a raffle to best engage with students between classes. Please review our sustainable swag policy for additional ideas here.

Career Fairs and Industry-Specific Events
Our career events are designed to connect our students with employers across all industries.
The University-Wide Career and Internship Fairs, hosted in the early fall and spring, are our largest events, bringing together 190+ employers and 1450+ students every semester.
Additionally, our wide range of industry-specific events throughout the academic year are more focused opportunities for employers and students to connect.
- Submit your request at least 3 weeks in advance so that we have the time to market your event to the students.
- Post all associated job opportunities to Handshake prior to or at the time of requesting your event.
- Include as much information as possible in the description section of your request in Handshake for students.
- Email employer.relations@unh.edu with any company marketing content and include social media handles so we can get your brand out to students as best as possible.
While CaPS supports employers with on-campus marketing and student outreach, we cannot guarantee attendance for virtual events nor interview sign ups. Applicant scheduling is solely at the discretion of the employer.
Classroom and faculty engagement is managed through the college career teams. Employers are not permitted to reach out to faculty directly and instead can reach out to employer.relations@unh.edu to be considered for the classroom engagement list.
