Career Fair Interview Days

Interview Day at UNH Career Fair Week: Thursday, September 17 & Friday, September 18, 10 AM – 3 PM

Accounting Panel and Career Fair Interview Day: Tuesday, September 22, 10 AM – 3 PM

Turn your Career Fair conversations into your next great hire. Interview Day provides the dedicated time and space to meet one-on-one with UNH talent that employers connect with at the Career Fair. After selecting your interview slots and determining your top candidates at the fair, CaPS will build a tailored interview schedule that fits your needs so you can leave the Career Fair week with strong candidates and your next hires.

Timeline:

  • Meet at the Career Fair and extend invitations on the spot to interview the next day.
  • The day after the Career Fair, return to campus to conduct interviews with your selected candidates.

Interview Days require quick turnaround and are best fit for employers who have specific jobs and internships they can quickly move from reviewing resumes at the Career Fair to offering interviews.

If your organization requires more time to conduct initial screenings or coordinate with different teams, we encourage you to schedule your on-campus interview, for a later date, before the career fair, doing so will prioritize your job and internship opportunities while students prepare for the career fair. This fits on-campus interviews into your hiring process while still providing a similar pipeline from career fair connection to candidate interviews to hires.

While we encourage you to come back in-person the next day, interview rooms are available to book for students to use as a dedicated space for a virtual interview.

Before the Career Fair - You’ll complete a brief survey to let us know your preferred Interview Day logistics, such as interview length, in-person or virtual, and how many representatives will attend. CaPS will book a private room on campus, build your schedule, and provide you with in-person scheduling instructions.

During the Career Fair - When you meet a student that you'd like to speak with further, offer them an interview. Complete the interview slip with them, and CaPS will collect it at the end of the day to create your schedule.

After the Fair - That evening, we’ll compile the signups to build your Interview Day schedule. We will email you the schedule and logistics,  along with relevant candidate information from their Handshake profiles. If we host a virtual interview, we ask that you share a link to the platform you will host the meetings on and we will share that out with students.

On Interview Day - Arrive at your private interview room, where our team will check-in students and be available throughout the day to support you with anything you need.  If hosting virtual interviews, students will log on with your meeting link at the scheduled time.  Let us handle the logistics so you can focus on making meaningful connections.
