Career and Professional Success seeks interns to join our fast-paced and exciting world of student and employer engagement. We look for personable, professional, and polished students to expand our reach across campus. Roles will share administrative responsibilities with a focus on Employer Relations, Reporting/Data/Technology, or Marketing/Social Media.
Responsibilities
Shared
- Serve as the first face of the office.
- Manage the general student email inbox.
- Supplies inventory management.
- Answering the main phone line.
- Varied additional support for CaPS staff as assigned on an ongoing basis.
- Staff meeting minutes.
- Promote CaPS and Events through tabling, personal social media, and word of mouth.
Reporting/Data/Technology
- Monthly student/employer engagement reporting.
- Salesforce data management.
- New technology troubleshooting.
- Procedure writing.
Employer Relations (Position Filled)
- On-campus recruiting operations.
- Salesforce data management.
- Best practice and employer research.
- Event logistics.
- Employer data sourcing.
- Field employer questions and concerns via email and phone.
Marketing/Social Media
- Social media content creation, scheduling, and account monitoring
- Video content/live-stream event production experience (not required)
- Content creation and editing for print & digital marketing collateral
- Website and social media analytics monitoring
- Creative and detail-oriented eye with experience in Canva and Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop/Premiere
Requirements:
- Familiarity with UNH’s Box integration and other university technology systems.
- Experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to work fast & meet flexible deadlines.
- Must be a good listener and able to stay organized with multiple projects.
- Active in UNH campus life.
- 3-hour shift availability and occasional evening availability.
- Applicants must be in good academic and social (i.e. no record of misconduct) standing. Violation of University rules and/or policies may result in termination from this position.
