Documenting Proof of Status

You are required to carry proof of status at all times.  These include the following:  

F-1 Students,  J-1 Students, and J-1 Scholars 

  • Passport
  • Paper copy of most recent I-94 record 
  • Paper copy of most recent Form I-20 or DS-2019, 
  • Driving license/non-driver ID (if applicable) 
  • Employment Authorization Document (EAD) (if applicable) 

H-1B and O-1 Employees  

  • Passport
  • Paper copy of most recent I-94 record  
  • Paper copy of H-1B or O-1 Approval Notice 
  • Driving license/non-driver ID (if applicable)
