Kate earned a B.A. in English and an M.F.A. in Fiction Writing from the University of New Hampshire. She joins the McNair Scholars staff after almost 10 years working with the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) on campus.
Kate is a lover of sports, animals, and nature. She enjoys exploring national parks and hopes to one day check them all off her list. In the winter, you can find her teaching snowboarding at Pats Peak on the weekends, which means she loves a good snowstorm! And on a rainy day, you will usually find her snuggling with her cat, Bellatrix and a good book.
