Christine Zaimes
Christine is a University of New Hampshire alumna, and a first-generation college graduate whose career reflects a deep commitment to student access, support, and growth. As a UNH student, she worked with TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and The Center for Academic Resources (CFAR) as an Academic Mentor, beginning a lasting connection to student support initiatives.
Since 2007, Christine has worked with UNH TRIO SSS and currently serves as Lead Education Coordinator, guiding students through academic, financial, and personal challenges with a focus on retention and graduation. Prior to returning to UNH, she spent over a decade working in Boston in higher education, human resources, and patient and family relations; experiences that strengthened her understanding of supporting individuals in diverse contexts.
Christine has completed graduate coursework in Organizational Leadership at Plymouth State University and applies emotional intelligence to engage and support others through clear, intentional processes. She helps students clarify their values and goals, recognize their strengths, and navigate the steps necessary to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Outside of her professional role, Christine enjoys time with family and friends, outdoors and visiting her family camp, on the water, and at the beach. She has a strong interest in nature-based wellness, energy modalities, and practices that promote personal growth and wellbeing.
