COMING SOON! Check back here for updates on HOOT registration, payment, and itinerary information.

A catalyst for students’ sense of belonging as they transition into their next stage of life - college.

Spend 3 days/2 nights on 100+ acres of private forest at The Browne Center, UNH's partner in Innovative Learning.

HOOT is an opportunity for Honors students to create lasting friendships and engage with the UNH community. The program is thoughtfully designed by Honors staff and UNH Outdoor Education experts to create environments for students to openly express themselves, have a voice, and learn to take advantage of all UNH has to offer.

With HOOT, students have the chance to:

  • Meet other first-year Honors students
  • Learn what opportunities Honors has to offer
  • Have early dorm room access
  • Cultivate new skills in a unique, historical environment
