Are the long summer days stretching before you with nothing to fill them?
Do you have QUESTIONS and wish you could speak directly to an experienced Honors Student?
Would like to connect with Honors classmates before you've even stepped foot on campus?
EMUs are here for you!
What are EMUs? So glad you asked...
EMUs (Engagement Meet-Ups) are fun get-togethers designed for incoming UNH Honors Students to meet one another during the summer months, make a few friendly connections before the fall semester, and ask Honors- and University-related questions of experienced, upper-level Honors student mentors, our EMU Leaders.
In summer 2022, Honors is offering THREE (3) different EMU opportunities to our new Honors Students:
Odiorne State Park in Rye, NH on Friday, July 15 from 2PM-4PM
The International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, ME on Sunday, July 17th from 11AM-1PM
The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA on Friday, July 29 from 11AM-1PM
Sound like fun? We hope so!
In May, first-year Honors Students are sent a form to accept or decline their invitation to participate in the Honors Program. Students expressing interest in an EMU on that form receive a second form in June to RSVP for their choice of EMU. Students should feel free to join one or all EMUs as they are able!
