Engagement Meet-Ups (EMUs)

Are the long summer days stretching before you with nothing to fill them?

Do you have QUESTIONS and wish you could speak directly to an experienced Honors Student?

Would like to connect with Honors classmates before you've even stepped foot on campus?

EMUs are here for you!

What are EMUs? So glad you asked...

EMUs (Engagement Meet-Ups) are fun get-togethers designed for incoming UNH Honors Students to meet one another during the summer months, make a few friendly connections before the fall semester, and ask Honors- and University-related questions of experienced, upper-level Honors student mentors, our EMU Leaders.

In summer 2023, Honors is offering THREE (3) different EMU opportunities to our new Honors Students:

  1. The International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, ME on Friday, July 14th from 11AM-1PM
  2. The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA on Sunday, July 16 from 11AM-1PM
  3. Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH on Friday, July 28 from 2PM-4PM

Sound like fun? We hope so!

In June, you will receive a form through which you can RSVP for your choice of EMU. Students should feel free to join one or all EMUs as they are able!

We can’t wait to see you this summer!
