Students are often curious about the language that will be reflected on their diploma after successfully graduating from the University Honors Program.

There are many ways to complete the University Honors Program. Here is the language you can expect to see on your diploma after completing your unique path:


University Honors Program Graduates: Students who complete their Honors Discovery requirements, specialized Honors coursework in their chosen field of study, and an Honors Thesis. 

"University Honors in (your major)"

 

Departmental Honors Graduates: Students who do not complete Honors Discovery requirements, rather, complete specialized Honors coursework only in their chosen field of study, and complete an Honors Thesis. 

"Honors in (your major)"

 

Interdisciplinary Honors Graduates: Students who complete their Honors Discovery requirements, 3 high-impact academic experiences, and complete an Honors Thesis.

"University Interdisciplinary Honors"

 

Interdisciplinary and Departmental Honors Graduates: Students who complete their Honors Discovery requirements, 3 high-impact academic experiences, specialized Honors coursework in their chosen field of study, and complete an Honors Thesis.

"University Interdisciplinary Honors in (your major)"
