Current undergraduate students enrolled in UNH Durham or Manchester campus-based degree programs can find important information and instructions for requesting a change to a degree program offered through the College of Professional Studies (CPS) Online on this page.
Students should discuss changing to a CPS Online degree program with current academic advisor before submitting the request.
Student Notification of Important Information
By submitting a change request, the student acknowledges the following:
Campus/Student Resources and Services
Enrolling in a CPS Online program will change student access to UNH Durham/Manchester resources and services supported by associated campus fees. As a result, student eligibility for services and resources including university housing, health services and benefits, student events and organizations, athletics, recreation facilities, etc. are subject to change.
Students currently residing in university housing should contact UNH Housing & Residential Life for information about eligibility, available options, and costs.
Coursework Review and Program Requirements
A CPS Online academic advisor and a member of the UNH Transfer Evaluation team will review the students' current and previously completed coursework to determine how the coursework may apply to the requirements of the CPS Online degree program selected (E.g. degree, major, general education, writing program, or elective requirements etc.).
Course Registration Changes
Students are responsible for updating course registration in Webcat before a campus/program change to CPS Online can be fully processed. This includes dropping or withdrawing from any courses the student is currently registered for and does not plan to complete. Account holds preventing course registration changes must be resolved by the student.
Course registration and financial related deadlines are available on the University Master Academic Calendar. Students are responsible for any financial obligations resulting from course registration changes. A campus/program change does not, by itself, qualify a student for a tuition appeal.
International Students
Students studying outside the United States are responsible for determining whether the CPS Online degree program is recognized in the country of residence. CPS Online does not sponsor student visas.
Returning to a Previous Program
Students who wish to return to a previous UNH Durham or Manchester campus-based degree program after changing to a CPS Online degree program may submit a request through the end of the course add/drop period for the first CPS Online term. Requests must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office at Registrars.office@unh.edu.
After the course add/drop period ends, readmission through the Office of Admissions is required to return to a Durham or Manchester campus-based degree program. Readmission is not guaranteed and is contingent upon meeting applicable admission requirements and degree program availability.
How to Request
Reminder: Students should discuss changing to a CPS Online degree program with current academic advisor prior to initiating a change request.
