Plan Future Transfer Coursework

UNH students must request transfer credit prior approval in advance to confirm if a course will transfer before enrolling at another institution.

Transfer Credit Prior Approval

Undergraduate students at UNH Durham or UNH College of Professional Studies, Manchester must request a transfer credit prior approval before enrolling in a course at another institution.

Requesting a Transfer Credit Prior Approval allows students to plan future transfer coursework and ensures the course is eligible for transfer to UNH. Additionally, the evaluation determines whether a course will fulfill any specific program requirements, such as major, minor, Discovery, or elective credits.

UNH College of Professional Studies-Online students should visit the CPS Transfer Credit Evaluation webpage for details on how to request a transfer credit evaluation.

Prospective or incoming UNH transfer students should visit the Office of Admissions transfer webpage for details on how to request a transfer credit evaluation.
