8:30 a.m. - Free train to Boston, Meet at the Dairy Bar on Main Street
10:30 a.m. - Arrive in Boston - Lunch is included in the day!
5:20 p.m. - Free train ride back to UNH
6:45 p.m. - Arrive in Durham (Dairy Bar)
During the Open House, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Meet current Semester in the City students
- Learn about their internship placements
- Participate in interactive workshops
Semester in the City features:
- 30+ hr/week internship at a mission-driven organization
- Matched with a dedicated mentor/supervisor
- Wednesday evening course (includes dinner) and Friday seminar/reflective workshops (includes breakfast & lunch)
- 16 UNH credits (check with your advisor if some can count for your major)
- Furnished apartment in the BU/BC area
- Unlimited MBTA Pass (commute AND explore the city!)
- $595 living stipend to help defray costs
- No additional fees. Pay your UNH tuition. Financial aid applies.
- Approx. $2000 AmeriCorps education award upon completion and access to AmeriCorps' network of Employers of National Service, who prioritize hiring AmeriCorps alumni!
