Corporate Partners Program

Creating a Sustainable & Resilient Future Together
Our UNH Sustainability Corporate Partners program is designed to be mutually beneficial. We recognize the need for a cohesive network to build a sustainable world and know we can achieve more effective, rapid gains by working collaboratively – across disciplines, sectors and generations. Your support and engagement bolsters innovative public higher education, future sustainability leaders, and a resilient state and region. Explore the FAQ section below to learn more about being a UNH Sustainability Corporate Partner and connect with us to amplify your competitive advantage of sustainability while tapping into a future pipeline of equipped talent.

As a public institution, funding is critical to our success. We’re incredibly grateful to our Corporate Partners who are supporting this work and the next generation of leaders!

Why, and in what ways, do we partner with organizations?

As a public institution, UNH has been committed to the public good for over 150 years. Sustainability is fundamental to the public good and a core UNH value – and we aren’t new to sustainability because neither are the challenges we face. In fact, UNH was the very first university in the country with an endowed sustainability program, and today we’re leading the way on innovative ways of thinking for a world that works better and creates a future that ensures a prosperous economy, resilient infrastructure, and the healthy, thriving ecosystems on which we all depend.

Our student-facing programs serve as a mechanism to add capacity to your organization’s sustainability projects and goals and for the community to connect, share expertise and resources all while training the next generation of leaders. We actively partner with businesses, non-profits and municipalities to offer opportunities, information, events and resources. Whether you become a Corporate Partner or not, we’re here to be of service for the state and region, and a resource for professionals and organizations alike. Learn more about how you can engage with us as an alumni or community partner.

Thank you to our 2024-2025 Partners

Here at Wyman's, we follow a simple rule: Live Fruitfully. As long as we do that, the rest comes naturally. Because living fruitfully means leading with purpose – like encouraging the world to lead healthier and happier lives by eating more fruit.

Tom's of Maine was started because the personal care products that our founders were using weren’t so great for the planet. We strive to be transparent about the naturally sourced and derived ingredients that we use, so you’ll know exactly what’s in the products that you use.

Corporate Partners Program FAQs

  1. Attract, recruit, and retain top talent that is well-trained in the professional and green skills needed for a sustainable and resilient future. Our programs are transformative experiences where students are learning concrete skills and implementing them by working alongside our community partners as part of their education. You’ll have priority access to connect directly with, and mentor, driven, highly engaged and skilled students that can fill your green skills deficit and are seeking to work for companies that are values aligned.
  2. Deepen your sustainability involvement, and visibility, in our state and region. Our students work with small businesses, non-profits, and government entities/municipalities, who often lack the in-house resources to tackle sustainability challenges on their own. As a corporate partner, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your involvement in sustainability, serve as a role model, and raise your visibility to talent and partners in the state and beyond.
  3. Meaningful engagement opportunities for your employees by:
  • Serving as a guest speaker
  • Attending events & networking
  • Meeting with program participants (students and organizations) to connect and learn about the work your sponsorship has supported
  • Serving as a volunteer or advisor

Learn about all of the opportunities below or download the Corporate Partner Program brochure (PDF).

We invite you to learn about the various sponsorship opportunities, such as underwriting our students program fees so that an organization can participate who might not otherwise be able to, or defraying the cost of events or campus sustainability initiatives. We encourage you to put together a package of activities that best speak to your own mission, strategic priorities, and goals. Download the full Corporate Partner program information (PDF).

We also welcome your ideas about how you can be an in-kind sponsor to the UNH Sustainability Institute through donation of your products or services.
