  • To stay on track for a 4-year graduation, students should apply on or before the fall of their sophomore year.
  • A grade of B- or better in any required option courses taken prior to acceptance or will need to retake.
  • Upon successful admittance, students must complete a separate "Professional Educator Preparation Program Candidacy Application" by March 1st of junior year to document their successful completion of courses to date, background check, and basic skills assessment to be eligible for a student teaching placement senior year.

    • Essay
    • Plan for completing pre-requisite and required coursework and Discovery requirements through the Senior year
    • Two letters of recommendation
    • A copy of transcript or summary of university/college coursework completed to date, with grades (unofficial transcript is OK, such as scanned copy of degreeworks audit)

 

Students should review application information for internal transfer students and detailed information about the program on the Occupational Therapy Department website. Students are encouraged to make an appointment with the department’s internal transfer advisor prior to applying or completing fall semester registration.
