• Early Childhood Education (Teacher Licensure Option)
• Overall GPA of 2.8 or higher
• Students should review requirements and compare with alternative options available within the major prior to applying. Students should rank order Early Childhood Education (Teacher Licensure) as their preferred option on the application.
• To stay on track for a 4-year graduation, students should apply on or before the fall of their sophomore year.
• A grade of B- or better in any required option courses taken prior to acceptance or will need to retake.
• Upon successful admittance, students must complete a separate "Professional Educator Preparation Program Candidacy Application" by March 1st of junior year to document their successful completion of courses to date, background check, and basic skills assessment to be eligible for a student teaching placement senior year.

How to apply: Internal Transfer | Nursing 

• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Complete or be enrolled in PSYC 401, BMS 507, BMS 508, OT 510 (or equivalent); Completion of OT 500 is desired also.
• Email Nancy.Lindley@unh.edu for application materials. The full application is due by the final Friday in October of sophomore year which includes:
  • Essay
  • Plan for completing pre-requisite and required coursework and Discovery requirements through the Senior year
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A copy of transcript or summary of university/college coursework completed to date, with grades (unofficial transcript is OK, such as scanned copy of degreeworks audit)

Students are encouraged to make an appointment with the department’s internal transfer advisor prior to applying or completing fall semester registration.
