Amy Meyers, Ph.D., LCSW, a professor and psychotherapist, has 30 years of practice experience in New York City. She has published and presented nationally on childhood and adolescent physical and emotional sibling abuse and its impact on the development of intimacy. She transformed a Long Island school district’s approach to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching and also serves as vice president of The New York State Social Work Education Association.
