SAARA's Director to Present at West Virginia ACEs Conference
SAARA’s Dr. Corinna Jenkins Tucker will present “Not Just Rivalry: The Invisibility of Sibling Aggression and Abuse,” co-authored with Dr. Tanya Rouleau Whitworth, at West Virginia’s 2025 Inaugural ACEs Conference, June 4-5. Sponsored by the ACEs Coalition of West Virginia, the conference’s theme is “Prevent. Treat. Heal.” The conference aims to bring together leaders, practitioners, researchers, and advocates to share evidence-based information to reduce the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on children, parents, and communities in West Virginia.
We are thrilled about this opportunity to generate awareness and advocate for sibling aggression and abuse to be considered ACEs and included in ACE screening inventories. For more information, see SAARA Bulletin #8, “Sibling Aggression and Abuse are ACEs.”
