Wildcat Days is a dynamic and fun program for our incoming students that takes place the weekend before fall classes begin on Monday, August 29. There are a variety of mandatory and social activities and meetings throughout the weekend to help students settle into campus and get ready for the year.

2022 Wildcat Days Schedule

All students will receive a physical schedule upon arrival on Friday.
Friday, August 26
9 AM 4 PM Move-In Residence Halls Settle into your residence hall with the helps of our RAs and the Wildcat Welcome Crew
5 PM 7 PM Floor Meetings Residence Halls Your RA will communicate the exact time for your mandatory floor meetings during this time-block. These meetings are your first opportunity to get to know the people you will be living with and learn about what it means to be a part of a residential community.  We encourage you to grab dinner in the dining halls when not in your meeting.
7 PM 10 PM Wildcat Bash Great Lawn 

Join your fellow Wildcats at the great Lawn for a fun night of carnival-esque games like life sized Hungry Hungry Hippos, Mini Golf, mechanical bull-rides, and more!!

Cancelled due to weather.

9:30PM 11 PM Social Program in Res Halls  Residence Halls  Head back to your Residence Halls for activities planned by your Hall Directors and RAs

Hamel Recreation Center Starting college comes with building new habits and exploring new things about yourself and your new home. Hear from Health & Wellness, Psychological and Counseling Services (PACS), and the Civil Rights and Equity Office about how to prioritize your well-being, make healthy decision during your time at UNH, and how to access support when you want it.
These Sessions are mandatory.

After, you will be joined by members of UNH’s administration, senate, and members of the Cat Pack Captains to help you kickoff your college experience! 
4 PM 5 PM Cat Pack Kickoff Rally Wildcat Stadium
5 PM 7 PM Campus Picnic Main St & Fishbowl Continue your celebration with a picnic, hosted by UNH’s Dining Services. 
5 PM 7 PM Resource Fair  Great Lawn  Come to the Great lawn during dinner to learn about resources available to you here at UNH. Enter in a chance to win prizes by visiting as many tables as you can! 
7 PM 10 PM MUBFest Memorial Union Building Do you like free food and giveaways? How about a chance to win awesome prizes like Apple AirPods?! Then make sure you join us for MUBFest 2022! This event is a crash course for all the MUB has to offer throughout the year- start your UNH merch collection, work together to beat an escape room, show off your trivia skills, watch A Capella performances, and meet campus partners that will set you on the right path for a successful year. Plus, get ready for our opening night comedian (trust us, you don't wait to miss it)!

10 AM 11 AM Yoga  Scott Lawn Fishbowl  Start your morning off with some outdoor Yoga! 
10 AM 11 AM Sustainability Tour Meet at Wildcat Statue  Want to learn more about UNH's Sustainability Institute? Join in on this tour full of information on how UNH works to be a sustainable campus. 
11 AM 12 PM Calendaring with CFAR MUB 338/340 Want to get ahead on your fall schedule?  Join CFAR to create a personalized calendar based on your class line-up.  You’ll walk away with a visual (and colorful!) representation of what your school week will look like.  Calendars, markers, post-its, and other calendar-making tools will be provided. Bring your phone or laptop to the session so you can easily access your course list!
11 AM 12 PM Find your Classes Tours Meet outside Hood House Getting to your first classes on time can be a stressful part of starting college.  Join Orientation Leaders on tours of the academic buildings. Bring your schedules. 
12 PM 5 PM Library Tours 3rd floor lobby (main lobby through front doors)  The UNH Library welcomes first year students for a tour of the Dimond Library and/or an interactive orientation session on library resources, services and expertise that can help you succeed! Tours and Orientation can be combined into an hour long session or can be done in separately. Both will be offered from 12noon-5pm on Sunday, August 28th with tours being offered on the half hour and orientation sessions being offered on the hour. Those wanting to start with the tour of the library should meet their guide in the Dimond Library main lobby (directly through the front doors) and those wanting to start with the orientation should meet in room 421 (up one flight from the main floor). And if you can’t make it for a tour or session, be sure to stop by the information table in Dimond’s main lobby to learn about the library and enter a raffle to win a fun prize!
12 PM 5 PM Outdoor Pool  Hamel Recreation Center Come to the outdoor pool to hangout and swim! 
1 PM 3 PM Field Hockey vs Boston University Memorial Field  Cheer on the Women's field hockey team at Memorial Field! No tickets needed.
1 PM 4 PM Target Trips  (Pick Up @ B-Lot) Bus to Dover  Need anything before classes start? New Student Programs is running a bus to Target for new students! *NOTE: there are limited seats on busses. 
1 PM 2 PM Meet Fraternity and Sorority Life 101  MUB 334/336 Come learn about fraternity and sorority life at UNH! We will give you a brief overview of our community, highlighting signature events, and answering any questions you may have. We will also be highlighting our two up and coming historically Black organizations starting this fall, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
2 PM 4 PM Women's Soccer vs. Central Connecticut State University  Wildcat Stadium  Cheer on the Women's Soccer team at Wildcat Stadium! No tickets needed.

3:30PM 5:30PM Lawn Games Fishbowl & Williamson/Christensen Lawn  Stop by to play some lawn games and meet new people! 
3 PM 5 PM Beauregard Center Open House  Beauregard Center Stop by the Beauregard Center for their Open House with delicious desserts and good music! Center Staff will be on site answering all your questions about Fall programs, social justice, identity exploration, and activism on campus. This is a drop in event, so come by anytime
5 PM 7 PM Men's Soccer vs Boston University  Wildcat Stadium  Watch UNH’s Three-Time Defending American East Champion Men’s Soccer Team in their first home game of the season. No tickets needed.
5 PM 6 PM Honors Smores Welcome Hubbard Hall Join us to meet other incoming Honors students and upper division Honors student leaders
8 PM  9 PM  BINGO  MUB- Granite State Room Wrap up Wildcat Days with BINGO hosted CAB! 
Monday, August 29th 
6 PM 9 PM Find Your Fit  Hamel Recreation Center

This event includes a mechanical bull, dodgeball tournament, inflatable attractions, pizza, and music. Explore opportunities within Campus Rec including sport clubs, intramural sports, group exercise, and outdoor adventures, among others. Be sure to visit other campus partners who will take part in the fun on Memorial Field (in front of the Whitt)!
