5:00PM - 6:30PM | Check-In Students and Parents/Families will check in at the Upper/Lower Quad Residential area. HONORS STUDENTS- you will check in at the Honors Welcome at Huddleston Hall and you should aim to be there between 4:30 and 5:00 PM | Upper and Lower Quad Residential Area |
7:00PM - 8:45PM | Hang in the HRC Gather in the Lower Quad courtyard to walk to the HRC together for games, meeting other new students, and exploring our state of the art facilities. Don’t forget your bathing suit and towel if you want to use the outdoor pool! | Hamel Recreation Center |
8:45PM - 10:30PM | Residential Hall Socials With things to do inside and outside the residence halls, this is your chance to experience social programming offered in residence halls during the year at UNH. Students must stay within the Upper/Lower Quad area and be back in their halls by 10:30 PM. | Upper/Lower Quad |

7:15AM - 8:45AM | Breakfast Join your Orientation group for breakfast. Exact time communicated by your OL. | Holloway Commons |
9:00AM - 9:45AM | Welcome Kick off your day with a welcome from the New Student and Family Programs team and university leadership. | Whittemore Center |
9:45AM - 10:30AM | Meet your Pack! Get to know your group and OL while exploring campus. | Locations determined by Orientation Leaders |
10:30AM - 12:00PM | Academic Session #1 Meet with your Academic Advisors to learn about your degree requirements and select your fall courses.

12:00PM - 1:15PM | Lunch Enjoy a meal with your group at your specified time (communicated by your OL). During this break your OL will show you where to get your ID photo taken if you haven’t already and point you towards some fun activities. | Holloway Commons & MUB |
1:15PM - 2:30PM | Off on the Right Paw & Living on Campus Hear from New Student and Family Programs staff as they share how to navigate UNH, get involved, find support, and set yourself up for success, followed by Housing and Residential Life with information about room selection, move-in, and life in the residence halls. | Memorial Union Building- Granite State Room |
2:30PM - 3:30PM | The Wildcat Way Hear from OLs about their experiences at UNH and ask any of your lingering questions. | Locations determined by Orientation Leaders |
3:30PM - 4:30PM | Academic Session #2 Return to your academic college to receive your course schedule and learn more about what to expect in the academic experience at UNH.

4:30PM - 5:00PM | Become the Roar Join your fellow Wildcats in one of UNH’s most beloved traditions. Walking under the T-Hall arches symbolizes officially becoming a Wildcat. | Thompson Hall Arches |
5:00PM | Check-Out
Head back to the residence halls to collect your belongings and check out with a member of the New Student Programs team.
