Two-Day Overnight Session Schedule

DAY ONE

Check In
5pm – 6:30pm, Upper and Lower Quad 
Check-in and drop off your belongings, then head to dinner. Every 15 minutes an Orientation Leader (OL) will bring groups of students to Holloway Commons Dining Hall.

Honors Launch  
5pm - 6:25pm, Huddleston 110
Get to know Huddleston Hall, learn about the Honors Curriculum, and meet future peers and staff. Honors students only.

Meet at UQ to Walk to HRC 
6:30pm – 6:45pm, Lower Quad 

Hangout at Hamel Rec 
7pm – 8:45pm, Hamel Recreation Center 
Gather in the Lower Quad courtyard to walk to the HRC together for games, meeting other new students, and exploring our state of the art facilities. 
Don’t forget your bathing suit and towel if you want to use the outdoor pool!

Residence Hall Socials 
8:30pm – 10:30pm, Upper and Lower Quad 
With things to do inside and outside the residence halls, this is your chance to experience social programming offered in residence halls during the year at UNH.

DAY TWO

Breakfast 
7:15am – 8:30am, Holloway Commons 
Join your Orientation group for breakfast. Exact time communicated by your OL. 

Welcome Program 
9am – 9:45am, Whittemore Center Arena 
Kick off your day with a welcome from the New Student and Family Programs team and university leadership.

Find Your Pack 
9:45am – 10:30am,Various Locations
Get to know your group and OL while exploring campus.

Academic Session 1 
10:30am– 12pm, Various Academic Buildings
Meet with your Academic Advisors to learn about your degree requirements and select your fall courses.

Lunch 
12pm – 1:15pm, Holloway Commons 
Enjoy a meal with your group at your specified time. During this break your OL will show you where to get your ID photo taken if you haven’t already and point you towards some fun activities.

Off on the Right Paw 
1:15pm – 2pm, Granite State Room- MUB 
Hear from New Student and Family Programs staff as they share how to prepare for UNH.

UNH 101 
2pm – 2:45pm, Various Locations
Put your Wildcat knowledge to the test in this UNH trivia challenge! Compete with your peers, learn fun facts about campus, and discover what makes UNH unique.

The Wildcat Way 
2:45pm – 3:30pm, Various Locations
Hear from OLs about their experiences at UNH and ask any of your lingering questions.

Academic Session 2 
3:30pm – 4:30pm, Various Academic Buildings
Return to your academic college to receive your course schedule and learn more about what to expect in the academic experience at UNH.

Become the Roar 
4:30pm – 5pm, Thompson Hall Arches 
Join your fellow Wildcats in one of UNH’s most beloved traditions. Walking under the T-Hall arches symbolizes officially becoming a Wildcat.
