Emily Schoonmaker
Community Coordinator, Honors Program and Hamel Scholars Program
Emily joined the Honors Program in the fall of 2019. As the Honors Community Coordinator, Emily oversees student leadership groups and develops co-curricular activities-- social events, professional development opportunities-- for all Honors Students. Emily is also delighted to oversee and coordinate the Hamel Scholars Program, an incredible group of Honors Students identified for their academic excellence, leadership qualities , and commitment to service. Emily is a graduate of Dartmouth College and of the University of Oregon School of Law. She has a background as a singer, an actor, a personal chef, and a criminal defense attorney. She is a volunteer board member for the Greengard Center for Autism in Portsmouth, NH.
