New Student Orientation 2021

Welcome Wildcats!
We are looking forward to getting to know you and introducing you to life at UNH at New Student Orientation!

 

All in-person attendees are required to have proof of one of the following:
a complete COVID-19 vaccination with last vaccination shot at least 14 days prior to orientation a negative
COVID-19 PCR test within 1 week* of their session

*Attendees with negative test results within 1 week will be permitted, however those outside the 72 hour window will be required to complete a temperature check and answer a series of questions at check in.

    Memorial Union Building
    Check in for orientation at the MUB. When you are done, explore our poster display introducing various aspects of student life at UNH!

    Welcome

    Whittemore Center
    Kick off your orientation with a welcome from the New Student Programs Team, Dean of Students, Michael Blackman, and representatives from the Beauregard Center
  • 10:45 - 11:45 am
    Orientation Group Time #1

    Various campus Locations
    Join your Orientation Leader and get to know other incoming students through fun games and a chance to explore campus!
  • 11:45 - 12:45 pm
    Lunch

    Holloway Commons (HoCo)
    Enjoy a meal at Holloway Commons (Hoco) and first-hand experience dining on campus

    *student meals are included in Orientation, guests should purchase meal tickets at check-in, or pre-purchase here (must be more than 24 hours advance of your session)

    Academic Welcome

    Whittemore Center
    Explore the UNH academic experience through a student panel, hosted by Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Kate Ziemer.
  • 2 - 3:00 pm
    College Sessions

    Various Campus Locations

    Join your academic college and learn essential information on course registration and academic expectations.

  • 3 - 4:00 pm
    WildACTS

    Whittemore Center
    Watch a performance on about college life performed by WildActs, UNH’s own social justice theatre troupe.
  • 4:15 - 5:00 pm
    Orientation Group Time #2

    Various Campus Locations
    Now’s your chance. Ask your Orientation Leader any questions you have about life at UNH.
  • 5 - 5:30pm
    Dinner

    Whittemore Center
    Dinner will be a delicious BBQ served by Dining services before attending Become the Roar. 
  • 5:30 - 6:30pm
    Become the Roar
     
    Hamel Rec Center

    Wrap up the day with your fellow wildcats through various games and activities at the Hamel Recreation Center (HRC).
