    Life in Action: Disc Golf

    Life in Action: Disc Golf

    Life in Action is a free recreation therapy program that runs weekly for a 10 week series. Each weeks events will take place in a different location on campus. Life in Action is facilitated by Northeast Passage program specialists who use purposeful recreation engagement to support overall health wellness.   

    If you are searching for opportunities to engage in a community, socialize, create meaning, and utilize recreation participation safely come check out this program! Throughout 10 weeks we will be offering a variety of opportunities to explore, talk about, and create health wellness through structured recreation therapy events.   

    This week we will be playing Disc Golf at Boulder Field. If you can't attend for the start feel free to register and come when you can. Email nicky.davis@unh.edu if you plan to attend late.  

    **IMPORTANT: If you register and you can no longer can attend PLEASE email nicky.davis@unh.edu or de-register. Some sessions will have limited availability or are equipment heavy and we want to be accurately prepared. Thank you!

    Green Movie Night

    Green Movie Night

    Join us for some crafting while we watch The Lorax! Please remember your face covering and to maintain social distancing at all times during the event. A valid Wildcat Pass is required for entry.

    This event has a capacity of 14 people to maintain social distancing (on a first come, first serve basis).

    Please note the following attendance requirements regarding COVID-19. 

    You must participate in the UNH COVID-19 testing program. You may not attend if you have travelled by plane, train, or bus within the past 14 days. You may not attend if you have had any close contacts (10 minutes of contact or greater, closer than 6 feet regardless of mask wearing) with anyone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19. You may not attend if you have had a fever or chills in the past 72 hours without the aid of a fever-reducing medicine like Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Advil (ibuprofen) You may not attend if you have any of the following symptoms: new onset of cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste/smell, and/or atypical headache

    Discussion with Curly Velasquez

    On Friday, April 9th at 6pm, join us for a discussion with Curly Velasquez: A look into Latinx and queer intersectionality.

    Curly Velasquez is an actor, style maven, creative director, writer, producer, so hilarious & always uplifting the Latinx community through his storytelling & social media. You may also know Curly from his appearances in Buzzfeed's PeroLike and Curly Show. We hope you join us for a discussion on Curly's life and success and we will end with an open Q&A for any audience members who would like to ask Curly something.

    Friday Night Meeple

    Friday Night Meeple

    This Friday night, come play board games, role-playing games, and magic: the gathering in the Wildcat Den and MUB 164 from 6:00 to 10:45 pm. Before arriving to Meeple, please read over these protocols. To ensure the safety of our members and to be able to continue offering in-person events, you must follow all the UNH, MUB, and meeple protocols. You will be warned 2 times if you are not following these protocols and on the third instance be asked to leave by one of the officers.

    General Guidelines:

    Masks must be worn at all times since social distancing will not be able to be maintained while playing tabletop games. The only exception to this rule is if you need to get a drink of water. No food will be allowed in either MUB 164 or the Wildcat Den. If you want to eat, eat out on the patio by MUB 164 or in the Union Court in the MUB. Due to the UNH Guidelines, no community members will be allowed to attend Friday Night Meeple for the Spring semester. You are not allowed to move any of the chairs or tables in MUB 164 or the Wildcat Den. The MUB set them up with social distancing in mind.

     

    Friday Night Meeple Protocols:

    Upon arrival, please show the officer at the Check-In table your Wildcat Pass, and fill out the attendance/raffle form on Discord Once you are checked in, please wipe down where you will be sitting before you sit down and after you leave to prevent the spread of COVID-19 Once you are done playing one of Meeple’s games, put it in the designated cleaning area, where one of the officers will sanitize it
