The Women in Leadership: Careers and Connections is an annual networking event hosted by the Aulbani J. Beauregard Center for Equity, Justice, and Freedom in partnership with UNH Alumni Relations. Started in 2025, the event offers students opportunities to:
→ Expand their professional network by connecting with UNH alumni, faculty, staff, and administrators
→ Learn about diverse career paths and professional journeys
→ Explore strategies to pursue employment opportunities during college and after graduation
→ Discuss approaches to building a successful career and confidently transitioning from college to full-time employment
The event features a keynote speaker who shares their personal career journey, offering valuable insights into the pivotal moments that shaped their professional path. The speaker discusses challenges they encountered and how they navigated these hurdles. Through their story, they highlight the strategies, mindset, and skills they employed to achieve success in their field. The keynote speaker also recommends a book that was instrumental to their leadership journey, and all participating students are entered into a raffle to win copies of the book.
