Members of the Office of Health Education and Promotion, Health Services are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the university community. We believe in living healthy, fulfilling lives through the connection of mind, body and spirit.
Education/Counseling Appointments:
Wellness Educators/Counselors are available to address a variety of health topics through education, counseling and support. The following individual education/counseling services are available to current UNH students who have paid the Health Fee:
- Anger Management – Mandated
- Anger Management – Self-Referred
- Alcohol and/or Other Drugs - Mandated*
- Alcohol and/or Other Drugs - Self-Referred
- Chronic Illness
- Nutrition and/or Eating Concerns
- Stress Management
- Sexual Health/Orientation
- Tobacco Cessation
* If this is your second offense and second time coming to our office for an alcohol or other drug violation, you must call to make an appointment.
Wellness Appointments:
Our department provides the following services as a way to help individuals learn to be and stay well. All of these services are available to current UNH students and faculty/staff, unless otherwise noted:
- Biofeedback (only available to students)
- Light Therapy (available to UNH community)
- Massage Therapy (available to USNH community)

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ONLINE APPOINTING:
We DO NOT see students who have been arrested for DUI or DWI. Please call our office at (603) 862-3823 to get a referral to a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) in the local community.
If you are a student who is seeking an interview with a staff member for a project or article you are writing, please call (603) 862-3823. Online appointing is only available to students who are seeking individual services.
Our staff is also available to speak with students who are concerned about a friend or family member’s alcohol or other drug use or eating concern. Please call (603) 862-3823 for an appointment.
