The University of New Hampshire combines the living and learning environment of a New England liberal arts college with the breadth, spirit of discovery, and civic commitment of a land-grant research institution. In the past decade, we have evolved from a regional institution with a strong undergraduate emphasis to a top-tier research university, with an increasingly national and international student body. Our work has resulted in a shared vision for our future that captures our rich traditions as well as defines exciting new opportunities. We cherish what happens in classrooms, where our students work with our outstanding faculty, and what happens in laboratories, field sites, studios, and libraries where we pursue new knowledge through basic and applied research.
