Academic Program Review

The Academic Program Review (APR) process is designed to guide the self-assessment and development of academic programs on a continuous basis. APR thus supports the University’s commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality academic programs, creating a culture of continuous improvement, and adhering to the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) accreditation standards.  All degree programs at UNH are required to complete an Academic Program Review.  A self-study for an external accreditor may suffice in lieu of an APR.  A self-study for an external accreditor may suffice in lieu of an APR (a list of externally accredited programs).

The Program Review Policy document provides instructions for completing the APR, and also provides guidance for locating the information and data needed to complete the report. For the data support you need from the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (IR&A), please refer to the Program Review Policy document and contact Jennifer Lehmann (jennifer.lehmann@unh.edu) for any questions.  If the schedule incorrectly indicates there is not an APR on file for your program, please submit the most current APR or updated information using the Academic Program Survey or email a copy to Jennifer Lehmann.
