Rachel Avery

Rachel interned with Paper Crane Associates, a consulting firm that aids mission-driven organizations in strategic planning. She used research and analysis to maximize efficacy and impact across sectors. Rachel completed her B.A. summa cum laude in May 2020, dual majoring in English and History with a concentration in Comparative Democracy. In her time at UNH Manchester, she studied homeland security in the UK, completed an internship with New Hampshire Humanities Council, and spearheaded the creation of a campus food pantry. Based on her passion for community changemaking, she co-founded the Student Coalition for Service Empowerment, worked as Student Director for the Office of Engagement, and provided teaching assistance for first year and social justice seminars.
