Originally from Edina, Minnesota, Lila was pursuing a BS in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability with a minor in Anthropology from the University of New Hampshire, Durham. On campus, she was the captain of the UNH Intercollegiate Dressage Team. Lila spent several years working as a counselor at a summer camp, which helped cultivate her love of nature and caring for our planet.

During the summer of 2021, Lila worked alongside ReVision Energy to create lesson plans surrounding themes such as clean energy methods, composting, and over-consumption. She researched all the background information necessary to make these lesson plans up-to-date and scientifically correct, while also researching how to make this information easy to understand and easy to teach to younger audiences. Lila’s final deliverable includes not only templates for each lesson plan but also activities to do at home or after a presentation to help reinforce important knowledge about the climate crisis. Additionally, she hopes her lesson plans can reach a wide range of audiences including students, parents, teachers, and more.
