Open mic night @ The Freedom Cafe with The SHARPP Center

Wednesday, April 02, 2025 - 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Freedom Cafe, 37 main street Durham, NH

We're kicking off Sexual Assault Awareness Month at The Freedom Cafe's Perform for Freedom (PFF) open mic night. PFF is a performance and awareness event that supports the movement to end human trafficking. Performers offer their talent and insight in a space that helps all of us learn and remain grounded as activists. Each night opens with a scheduled performer, followed by an educational window on human trafficking and open mic performances. Sign-ups for performing begin at 7pm. The SHARPP Center will be running our 1BlueString awareness campaign at this event. 1BlueString is a national campaign that asks guitarists to replace one of their six strings with a blue string to show solidarity and support for the 1 in 6 men who have experienced interpersonal violence (IPV). This program is open to all UNH & Durham community members.
