Over the past 35 years, we’ve continued to build on the work we do on campus by hiring more staff and launching into an exciting new time of reimagining and re-envisioning the ways that our work can continue to meet the needs of those we serve.  When it comes to our prevention and outreach, we recently completed co-authoring a Comprehensive Prevention Plan with our colleagues at UNH Health & Wellness, delivering a total of 242 prevention and outreach programs in the 2021-2022 academic year, and creating a new SHARPP prevention online module for all students studying abroad beginning in Fall 2023.

We have also been finding new and innovative ways to provide support, advocacy, and direct services to those impacted by violence. Recent examples of this include launching a secure online chat platform called Resource Connect and providing direct financial support for survivors’ emergency housing, mental health care, legal assistance, and more.
