2021 Best Year Ever
Since its launch in 2015, The (603) Challenge has represented a key source of funding for UNH, bringing in gifts that can be deployed immediately to support students and projects across the university. In each of its seven years, the Challenge has set new records for both dollar-amounts raised and participant numbers, and 2021 was no exception: During the five-day event, which ran from Apr. 9-13, The (603) Challenge raised more than $2.6 million to support UNH’s colleges, teams and programs, with gifts coming from some 11,3000 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends.

Three Students Awarded SMART Scholarship
Three UNH students were recently awarded Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) scholarships through the Department of Defense (DoD), cementing the university as a top producer of SMART scholars in the region and nationwide.
Since 2006, 28 UNH students have received SMART scholarships, making the university the top SMART-scholarship-producing institution in New England and placing it in the top 7% nationwide.
UNH Nursing Achieves Highest Ever National Ranking from U.S. News & World Report
The University of New Hampshire’s department of nursing has received a #63 ranking for its master's programs from U.S. News and World Report (USNWR). This achievement makes UNH the highest ranked among all master’s nursing programs in northern New England.
