Changemaker Fellow
Maddie Vangellow Headshot

Maddie was a first-year student majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Health Care Management. In high school, she founded a credit union branch in her school, played French horn, participated in unified sports, and was very active in community outreach. As President of the Business Club and National Honor Society, she organized and led multiple drives. She was active with the Small Business Council of Rochester’s Thanksgiving Food Drive as well as with the Backpack Initiative for school supplies. Through all her community outreach, she found her passion and power to make positive change happen for others. Intrigued by the Changemakers Collaborative, she hoped to acquire and hone her skills to continue to make an impact for others at school, in her community, in her life, and throughout her career. In addition to being a Changemakers Fellow, Maddie was a Paul Scholar, Honor Student, and member of Women in Business, CHAARG, and the Ski and Board Clubs. She enjoys hikes, sunsets, anything in and around water, and loves to explore and travel. Maddie was looking forward to participating in Semester in the City, and excited to personally see the positive changes she could create and to meet new people along the way.
