Jill Durkin Headshot

Jill was pursuing a BS in Finance and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Throughout her time at UNH, she focused on sustainable business throughout her time at UNH and gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant for Business Ethics and Peer Mentor in the B-Impact Clinic. She also had the opportunity to compete at the International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition where she presented on the value of gender diversity in upper management in banking.

During the summer of 2021, Jill worked with Prime Buchholz LLC on their annual ESG and DEI Survey. The survey was sent out to all managers and the results were analyzed to improve client reporting. The goal of the project was to create a DEI rubric, collect data from ~ 300 firms, and score those firms based on their survey responses. Additionally, Jill worked with Aliya to propose an annual DEI newsletter intended to be distributed to all managers who responded to the survey. This newsletter featured the managers that Jill and Aliya thought most exemplified the future of DEI in the industry. Jill spent any extra time drafting informational papers for clients on topics such as NetZero and B Corps as well as collaborating with Aliya to come up with recommendations that will improve the survey process in years to come.
