Changemaker Fellow
Avery was a first-year student majoring in Ocean Engineering. Previously, she participated in Lockheed Martin Explorers Post, Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, Student Government as Senior Class President, Lacrosse and Field Hockey as Varsity Team Captain, and Robbie's Hope – a suicide prevention organization – as a Student Activist. Avery joined the Changemaker Fellowship with hopes of diving deeper into our world's sustainability efforts and enacting positive change in our ever-changing environment. In addition to her participation in the Changemaker Collaborative, Avery was also involved with the UNH Honors College and Sailing Club.
