What is the Changemaker Fellowship?

We support all students, with diverse interests and life experiences, throughout college and beyond with high-impact, real world experiences to build a life and a career at the intersection of doing well and doing good. We use a people-planet-profit approach and care about making a positive social, environmental and economic impact in the world.  If you do too, then you have what it takes!

Pre-Accepted program

Semester in the City (SITC) is an internship-based program in Boston; students earn 16 UNH credits, have a dedicated mentor and work on strategic projects for their host organization. Live in the BU/BC area in apartments with your cohort, plus other perks!

NEW for 2021: Students can choose to intern right here at UNH through SITC @ UNH! Make an impact on campus and work with a mentor on a strategic sustainability project with a UNH department.

    Fellows are paired with a peer mentor, a Changemaker Coach – who are UNH students with experience in our programs and changemaking here on campus and in the community. They're here to help you make the most of your UNH experience, while driving social, environmental and economic action.

    Fellows are pre-accepted into our distinguished internship program:
    Semester in the City (fall/spring in Boston, credit bearing) NEW for 2021: choose to intern in Boston or right here at UNH!

    Bella was a freshman majoring in Business Administration and Sustainability. In high school, Bella was a designer on the school yearbook staff, played forward on the varsity soccer team, and started the Sustainability/Conservation Club.     Derek is an Information Systems and Business Analytics major.
