Sustainability Day is an opportunity for the University of New Hampshire to showcase its vast variety of clubs and organizations that continuously demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. We chose to focus on a core set of three pillars of sustainability: environmental, economic, and social. Although each pillar individually is important, a sustainable, equitable future is not possible without all three. As a community, we are aiming to create a unified environment with a central focus on our 'local' efforts towards sustainability. This will range from external companies harnessing renewable energy for automobiles, to university-affiliated clubs or organizations that bring sustainability into practice.
